Gold-only product scope
These Terms cover the sale of physical gold, optional custody by SGNX, physical delivery and separately quoted buyback. They do not offer an investment, deposit, fixed or variable return, interest, profit share, multiplier, maturity value, compounding facility, salary, recruitment income or assured appreciation.
Acceptance and application
These Terms govern orders placed through sgxmeta.ai, the SGNX customer portal or another Company-approved channel. By placing an order, selecting custody, requesting delivery or accepting a buyback quote, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and the relevant transaction documents.
Each transaction is subject to availability, KYC, payment clearance, applicable law and written acceptance by SGNX. Displaying a product, price or account balance does not by itself require SGNX to accept an order.
Document hierarchy
If documents conflict, the following order applies for the affected transaction:
- Applicable mandatory law or a binding regulatory or court direction.
- The accepted order confirmation and tax invoice.
- The customer-specific gold allocation or custody statement.
- The accepted delivery or buyback quotation.
- These Terms and then the website content.
- No oral statement, chat message, presentation, referral communication or marketing material overrides these documents.
Key definitions
- Allocated Gold
- Gold recorded for a customer by invoice, purity, quantity and allocation, lot or custody reference maintained by SGNX.
- Buyback
- A separate purchase by SGNX of eligible customer gold at a price and on conditions accepted at that time.
- Company / SGNX
- SGNX Gold Bullion Private Limited.
- Custody
- Safekeeping of Allocated Gold by SGNX at its approved storage location, subject to these Terms.
- Customer
- The individual or entity accepted by SGNX for a transaction.
- Gold
- The bullion, coin, bar or other permitted physical gold product described in the invoice.
- Verified Bank Account
- A bank account held in the verified customer name and approved for refunds or buyback settlements.
Eligibility and KYC
A customer must be legally competent, provide complete and accurate information and act for their own account unless an authorised representative is approved. SGNX may require identity, address, PAN, tax, bank, source-of-funds, beneficial-ownership and other documents.
- KYC is an identity and compliance process; it does not guarantee order acceptance, product availability, price, delivery or buyback.
- Customers must promptly update changed or expired information.
- SGNX may conduct fraud, sanctions, bank-account and source-of-funds checks and may reject or hold a transaction where reasonably required by law or risk controls.
- Cash, anonymous funds, third-party accounts and unapproved payment channels are not accepted.
Gold orders and pricing
Prices may change with the gold market, purity, product form, quantity, taxes, supplier premiums and availability. A price becomes binding only for the validity period shown in an accepted quotation or order confirmation.
- The customer must review product description, purity, weight, price, GST, charges and delivery or custody selection before confirming an order.
- Payment must be received from an approved source and fully cleared.
- SGNX may reject an order before acceptance and return cleared funds to their verified source, subject to lawful deductions actually incurred and disclosed.
- Once an order is accepted and gold is procured or allocated, cancellation may be unavailable because of market movement and product-specific costs.
Invoice, purity and quantity
For every completed sale, SGNX will issue a tax invoice or other legally required record identifying the gold, purity, quantity, price, taxes and customer. Purity and product marking will follow the legal requirements applicable to the product category. Gold bullion may be subject to different standards from jewellery and artefacts.
The customer must report an apparent invoice, weight or product discrepancy promptly. Nothing in these Terms limits a statutory remedy for short delivery, defective goods, false description or unfair trade practice.
Title and allocation
Title passes at the time stated in the accepted order confirmation and invoice, subject to cleared payment. Where custody is selected, SGNX will maintain a customer ledger connecting the invoice to the recorded purity, quantity and allocation or lot reference.
- Custody records must distinguish customer holdings from SGNX trading inventory and from the holdings of other customers.
- SGNX will not pledge, lend, sell, encumber or use Allocated Gold for Company financing or another customer obligation.
- A portal quantity or value is subject to the final invoice and custody records. Temporary display errors may be corrected with a recorded reason.
- The customer should review statements and promptly report an apparent discrepancy.
Custody by SGNX
When selected and accepted, SGNX Gold Bullion Private Limited acts as custodian of the customer's Allocated Gold at an SGNX-approved storage location. Storage is currently provided without a separate storage charge.
Free storage does not create a bank account, deposit, investment account, interest entitlement or guaranteed resale obligation. SGNX may introduce a storage charge prospectively only after reasonable advance notice. Before a new charge applies, the customer will be allowed a reasonable opportunity to request delivery or accept an available buyback quote.
Custody controls and reconciliation
SGNX will maintain internal custody records, access controls and periodic physical-to-ledger reconciliation. Reconciliation is performed by SGNX Gold Bullion Private Limited with operational verification support from Real Agency. Real Agency is not described in these Terms as an independent statutory auditor or insurer.
- Custody entries will be supported by transaction, quantity and purity records.
- Corrections must preserve the original entry, correction time, reason and approving authority.
- Material discrepancies will be investigated and affected customers will be informed where required.
- The customer may request a current custody statement through the portal or Support@sgxmeta.ai.
No insurance representation
SGNX does not represent that custody under these Terms is protected by a separate customer-gold insurance policy. The customer therefore accepts the risk that physical gold may be exposed to theft, fire, natural events, fraud, operational failure or other loss.
This disclosure does not excuse SGNX from responsibility imposed by law for its own fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, breach of custody obligations or unauthorised dealing with customer gold.
Physical delivery
A customer may request physical delivery of eligible Allocated Gold through the portal or Support@sgxmeta.ai, subject to KYC status, cleared title, minimum product quantities, legal restrictions, operational availability and payment of disclosed delivery charges.
- Delivery charges depend on distance, destination, quantity, logistics provider, packaging and handling requirements.
- The complete charge and estimated timeline will be shown or communicated before the customer confirms delivery.
- The customer must provide a serviceable address and complete delivery verification. Address changes may require additional verification.
- Risk and responsibility transfer at the point stated in the delivery confirmation, subject to mandatory consumer law.
- Failed delivery, re-delivery or customer-requested destination changes may attract actual additional charges disclosed before re-dispatch.
Buyback service
SGNX may offer to buy eligible gold from a customer, but buyback is not guaranteed and is not a redemption promise. Each buyback requires a separate live or time-limited quotation accepted by the customer.
- The buyback price may vary with market price, purity, product form, condition, quantity, taxes, liquidity, assay requirements and SGNX spread or charge.
- All deductions and the net settlement amount will be disclosed before acceptance.
- SGNX may require physical verification, custody confirmation, assay or title verification.
- Settlement will be made only to the customer's Verified Bank Account after completion of checks and applicable tax deductions.
- A displayed indicative value is not a buyback offer and may differ from the executable price.
Charges and taxes
- Storage
- No separate storage charge at present.
- Delivery
- Actual charge based on distance, destination, quantity and logistics requirements; disclosed before confirmation.
- Buyback
- Variable spread or charge based on the accepted quote; disclosed before acceptance.
- Assay / handling
- Applied only when required and disclosed before the customer proceeds.
- Taxes
- GST, withholding and other taxes as applicable under law and shown in the relevant record.
Returns, cancellation and refunds
Because gold prices fluctuate, an accepted order may not be cancellable after procurement or allocation. Any cancellation offered by SGNX will be subject only to the customer's statutory rights, the transaction stage, actual market difference and reasonable costs disclosed before acceptance. No automatic 50 percent cancellation penalty applies under these Terms.
Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned to the verified payment source or another Verified Bank Account permitted by law. Refund processing may be held for KYC, fraud, tax, banking, court or regulatory checks.
Customer account and security
The customer is responsible for protecting account credentials, devices and OTPs and for verifying every instruction before submission. SGNX may apply multi-factor authentication, session controls and transaction verification and may temporarily suspend access after suspected compromise.
- SGNX personnel will not ask for a complete password or OTP.
- Customers must report suspicious activity immediately to Support@sgxmeta.ai.
- Instructions submitted through a compromised account may be held while facts are investigated.
- System maintenance or service-provider failure may temporarily delay access, delivery or settlement.
Prohibited use and marketing
The platform and gold products must not be used for money laundering, tax evasion, sanctions avoidance, fraud, unauthorised fundraising or misleading promotion. Customers and promoters must not describe SGNX gold as an investment return, deposit, monthly income, fixed-profit plan, multiplier, compounding product or recruitment opportunity.
No person is authorised under these Terms to collect cash, promise returns, guarantee buyback, recruit customers for income or bind SGNX through an oral or social-media statement.
Principal risks
- Gold-market risk: gold prices and spreads can rise or fall, and the customer may receive less on sale than the purchase price.
- Custody risk: physical gold may be lost, stolen, damaged, misrecorded or become inaccessible. SGNX makes no separate insurance representation.
- Liquidity risk: SGNX may not offer buyback at a requested time and third-party sale may involve delay or cost.
- Counterparty risk: banks, logistics providers, refiners, assay providers or other service providers may fail or delay.
- Operational and cyber risk: systems, credentials, communications, records or service providers may be disrupted or compromised.
- Legal and tax risk: GST, customs, consumer, precious-metal, data, trade or other legal requirements may change.
Privacy and communications
SGNX may process identity, contact, tax, bank, order, custody, device, support and security information for onboarding, sales, custody, delivery, buyback, legal compliance, fraud prevention, customer support, accounting and dispute handling. Processing is subject to the Privacy Notice displayed on sgxmeta.ai and applicable Indian data-protection law.
Transactional and legal notices may be sent through the portal, registered email, SMS or another recorded channel. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Customer support and grievances
Complaints should include the customer name, account or order reference, issue, requested resolution and supporting documents. SGNX aims to acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. If resolution takes longer, SGNX will communicate the reason and current action in writing.
Customers may also use remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the National Consumer Helpline at consumerhelpline.gov.in or another competent authority. Nothing in these Terms restricts a non-waivable consumer remedy.

Suspension and compliance holds
SGNX may place a reasonable temporary hold on an order, custody instruction, delivery, buyback or settlement for KYC, sanctions, fraud, account compromise, title discrepancy, court order, tax, regulatory, banking or operational reasons. Where lawful and safe, SGNX will state the reason and next step.
A hold is not a forfeiture. SGNX may not permanently retain customer gold or money without a contractual or legal basis.
Company responsibility
SGNX is responsible for performing accepted obligations with reasonable care and for maintaining transaction and custody records. Nothing excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, breach of statutory duty or unauthorised use of customer property.
Subject to mandatory law, SGNX is not responsible for indirect loss caused solely by gold-price movement, an inaccurate customer instruction, customer credential compromise or an event outside reasonable control, provided SGNX has taken reasonable preventive and mitigating measures.
Force majeure
Performance may be delayed by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, war, civil disturbance, government action, market closure, bank or logistics interruption, cyber incident or critical infrastructure failure. SGNX will take reasonable steps to protect customer records and gold and resume affected services. Force majeure does not permit unauthorised use or transfer of customer property.
Changes to these Terms
SGNX may update these Terms prospectively for legal, security, operational or service changes. Material changes will be notified through the portal or registered email before they take effect. A change will not retroactively alter a completed purchase, remove title to Allocated Gold or impose a new storage charge without reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to request delivery or consider an available buyback quote.
Termination and account closure
The customer may request account closure after pending orders, custody instructions, delivery, buyback, refunds, charges and compliance checks are completed. SGNX may close or restrict an account for material breach, fraud, legal prohibition or security risk after following applicable law.
Closure does not erase title, custody, delivery, settlement, tax, privacy, complaint or dispute obligations that are intended to survive.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and the jurisdiction of competent consumer commissions or other statutory authorities, courts of competent jurisdiction at Hyderabad, Telangana will have jurisdiction. Customers located in Visakhapatnam or elsewhere retain any venue or forum rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
Before filing an ordinary civil claim, the parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through the grievance process for 30 days, unless urgent relief, limitation periods or mandatory law require earlier action.
General provisions
- Severability: if a provision is invalid, the remaining lawful provisions continue.
- No waiver: delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver.
- Assignment: customer title or contractual rights may be transferred only through a lawful, documented process. SGNX may not transfer custody obligations without appropriate safeguards and required notice or consent.
- Entire agreement: the document hierarchy contains the complete agreement for the transaction.
- Language: an approved translation may be provided for convenience. Mandatory language and consumer requirements will apply.
- Electronic acceptance: affirmative electronic acceptance and transaction records may be relied upon to the extent permitted by law.
Customer acknowledgement
By accepting these Terms or completing an order, the customer confirms that the product is physical gold and not a deposit, investment-return or recruitment product; gold value and buyback price may fall below the purchase price; custody is optional and no separate insurance representation is made; storage is currently free; delivery and buyback charges vary and are disclosed before acceptance; buyback is optional and not guaranteed; the customer received the applicable invoice and transaction or custody record; and the customer had the opportunity to ask questions and obtain independent advice.
